Spearmint Tea is one of my favorite go-to teas when I’m looking for a beverage to lighten the heaviness of winter. Simply inhaling it’s minty fragrance makes me smile and say “mmmmm.” I love tea and consider herbal tea in general to be a part of my health foundation.
ORGANIC SPEARMINT TEA – Spearmint tea may help clear your stuffy nose when you have a cold because of the menthol in spearmint and can help soothe a sore throat. It can aid digestion and is especially useful in stimulating the digestion of proteins.
I generally get less exercise during the winter and find the digestion assist a benefit. It’s also caffeine free, making it a great alternative to coffee. I’m a bit sensitive to caffeine so this is a plus for me. It’s an excellent source of vitamins and minerals, containing niacin, potassium, vitamins A and B6, riboflavin, folate, calcium, iron, copper, magnesium and manganese. Enjoy a cup of organic spearmint tea several times a week.
