Easy Artichoke Hearts and Italian Chicken Sausage Pizza

Quick and Easy, Healthy Friday Night Pizza in 35 Minutes! Begin with a frozen Amy’s Organic Cheese Pizza. I get mine at the local grocery outlet store, so it is considerably less expensive than other stores.


Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees.

Next, I add Artichokes Hearts from the freezer section at Trader Joes. NOT marinated artichokes. Thaw a few of the hearts, chop them into bite-size pieces and spread evenly over the pizza.

Then add Italian Chicken Sausage. I purchase the sausage in bulk and cook it ahead of time, keeping it ready to use in my freezer. Get the best quality sausage you can find. Check the ingredient list for unnecessary ingredients. Sprinkle the crumbled sausage over the top of the artichokes.

Gather some Fresh Spinach leaves, roll them together and slice. Sprinkle the spinach over the pizza.

Finish with a hand full of Black Olives sliced in half and a little Shredded Mozzarella Cheese.

NOTES: I use Whole Foods 365 black olives. The ingredients are olives, water and salt. Most black olives have an ingredient called “ferrous gluconate” to maintain the darker color. I just like to eliminate any additional ingredients if I can.

Check the ingredients on the shredded cheese and get the best quality available to you.


Place on a pizza pan and cook for about 20 Minutes, watching until the crust is a little crispy and the center is bubbling.


Top your pizza with Fresh Tomatoes and ENJOY a couple of guilt-free slices!!
