Mums are a sure sign that “Fall” is on the way and I’m looking forward to it. I have always enjoyed living in a part of the country where we experience definite seasons, because as soon as I get bored with one season another one is around the corner.
It seems like we literally went from 100-degree weather a week ago to the coolness of the “Fall Season” overnight and it feels wonderful. It’s quickly getting dark sooner too.
In the last couple of weeks, I comfortably slipped into an easy groove of writing and as of last night, I finally finished my novel Heart Seasons. I’ve been working on this book for four years in total and just recently understood how it was supposed to end.
It took some effort, but I was able to make writing one of my highest priorities and easily wrote 20,000 words to finish the story. Also, I have already managed a serious amount of editing on my part. I want my manuscript to be as ready as possible before I turn it over to my editors.
A clear sign that writing has been my priority lately is the lack of food posts on my blog, but more will be coming soon. Now, we start the official editing process and my editing team is ready to go. The goal to independently publish my novel before the end of the year is still within reach. Yay!!
