Deep Down in the Weeds of Editing My Novel

I have to tell you, editing for “Overused Words” is my least favorite part of the entire writing process. I am by nature a detail-oriented person, but this level of editing is even too tedious for me. It feels like slogging through the weeds in a pair of heavy winter hiking boots.

But, it is extremely necessary!! Or should it be “However, it’s necessary!”
