I’ve been getting a little nervous lately!! My goal was to indie-publish my novel “Heart Seasons” by the first of November, so it would be available for the holidays. Well, as life would have it that schedule has been pushed out a little.
My mother had a couple of health issues that unexpectedly arose and needed tending to. But thankfully she’s fine now, so I’m back on track and if I stay the course I won’t be too far from my goal.
Since I’m busy, busy, busy with the final phase of publishing my novel and don’t have time to spend on food posts at the moment, I wanted to share some of my favorite fall photos from around our neighborhood.
Does anyone know what kind of tree this is? I’ve never seen these little red globes before. They’re cute, but they sure make a mess on the sidewalk!!
We have a wonderful walking community and strolling up and down the streets and through the parks is how I rejuvenate myself from the intense focus required to self-publish a book.
This photo makes me think of the holidays coming up, with the red berries and green leaves. Aren’t they festive?
Some of my favorite days are autumn days like this one–sun shining and clear blue skies as the background for the amazing colors of nature.
Aren’t the shades of orange on that tree in the middle gorgeous and inspiring!
