Both my husband and my mother, who lives with us, are allergic to eggs, so I like to look for ways to make treats for them without using eggs.
They both love chocolate and so do I, and that makes this rich creamy smooth chocolaty dessert the perfect solution.
REAL TRIPLE CHOCOLATE INGREDIENTS
In a saucepan over medium heat, add some milk and stir occasionally until it just begins to boil. While waiting, in a bowl whisk some cocoa powder, cornstarch and salt until completely combined, then add a little more milk and whisk until dissolved.
Once the milk comes to a boil, turn the temperature down to low and add the cocoa cornstarch mixture slowly while stirring constantly.
Cook for a few minutes until the pudding begins to thicken, then add the dark chocolate chips and stir until they are melted and the pudding is thick. Remove it from the heat and immediately add a little vanilla and honey and stir until combined.
Pour the pudding into small bowls and let it cool, either in the refrigerator or on your counter. Next, top the cooled pudding with whipped cream and sprinkle with shaved dark chocolate from your favorite chocolate bar. Try my Luscious Homemade Whipped Cream recipe.
Dark Chocolate is said to be a Superfood rich in antioxidants. Some even say it’s good for better cognitive function and I’ll take that any day.

True about the naughty, but I make myself feel better by using Dark Chocolate and Honey instead of white sugar. We all need to indulge once in a while!!
