By Patty Thurlby. You’ve been there, you keep going when the winds of life are blowing hard! That’s when a spine of steel comes in handy and a combination of hope and toughness surges through the “Queen of Resilience”.
View Entire Post: Queen of Resilience!
This blog post really “Refreshed My Heart” as my artist best friend Patty Thurlby would say, so I just had to share it with you. Patty’s story in “Queen of Resilience” was a source of inspiration for me, I so admire her strength and perseverance.
“The Winds of Life” have been blowing pretty hard for a while now and just when I thought we were entering a calm in the storm, out of the blue, without warning, a few weeks ago I ended up in the ER at 3:00 am with excruciating abdominal pain. Then, within a few hours I was being prepped for emergency surgery. I had a fairly common body part removed and have been in recovery mode since.
But as Patty says in her post, “We are tough. We rebuild, we heal, we rehabilitate, we recoup our losses. We are Queens of Resilience.”
This latest event makes my wholesome “Real Food Meals” way of living even more important than ever before. I can’t even look at a greasy piece of pepperoni pizza at the moment. I’ll definitely be sticking to primarily healthy fats!
