This King Arthur product is 100% Whole Grain Flour ground from “Hard White Spring Wheat” and is my new love for baking! I’ve only been using it for a year or so now and it is amazing.
I would like to recommend “King Arthur’s White Whole Wheat Flour” as a replacement for the majority of your all-purpose flour needs. I have been able to completely eliminate white flour from my kitchen and am thrilled. Regular whole wheat flour is too heavy or dense for some recipes, so I am very happy to have this wonderful addition to my pantry.
Unbleached “White Whole Wheat Flour” is milled from “Hard White Spring Wheat” rather than the traditional “Red Wheat” of regular “Whole Wheat Flour.” With its lighter color, milder flavor and finer texture, it is a great substitute for all-purpose flour. It gives you all of the nutrition and fiber of whole grains, in a lighter, milder-tasting flour.
