I just love this photo from my hometown! My sister-in-law sent it to me a couple of days ago and it reminded me of summers growing up at the beach on the Northern Oregon coast. We’ve begun a hot streak here in the city near Portland and seeing this image had me dreaming of a cool ocean breeze and an awe-inspiring sunset like this one.
Today the weather forecast is for 90°, which is a bit too much for me, so thank goodness for air conditioning. When I look at this pic and imagine standing at the edge of the massive Pacific Ocean, I see the beauty and vastness of the sea and that makes me infinitely aware of God’s presence. This photograph is spectacular. Thank you Nina!
My novel “Heart Seasons” takes place in a fictional coastal town and was inspired by my own hometown. I was born just four blocks from the beach and always feel drawn to the sea. Who knows, maybe I’ll live near it again one day!
May I recommend my fiction novel “Heart Seasons” either for yourself or as a gift. “Heart Seasons: A Journey of Miracles” is a spiritual, inspirational fictional story based on real life events and it is my pleasure to share it with you!
