The popular grape is a wonderful addition to a healthy Real Food diet. I like to use their natural sweetness in recipes to reduce added sugar or they’re perfect as a refreshing juicy snack or side dish. I love them for their taste and texture and convenience for taking them with me on the run. They’re delicious and satisfying!
Grapes are rich in antioxidants, including resveratrol and flavonoids and are also flavonoid-packed and a great source of phytonutrients. They’re also full of vitamin C and dietary fiber. In addition, grapes have a high water content that helps keep the body hydrated and they assist with digestion and can boost the immune system.
All varieties of grapes are a great addition to a healthy eating plan, providing essential vitamins and minerals. Add them to smoothies, salads or even bake them in a cake or in muffins, they’re amazingly versatile. If you don’t have fresh grapes on hand, you can always use raisins to get some of the same health benefits.
Feel free to try one of my favorite Easy Real Food Recipes for an open-face breakfast sandwich with fresh grapes on the side, “Honey Cream Cheese & Turkey Bacon on Artisan Bread.”

Agreed!
Sometimes I like to freeze grapes and suck on them. Another grape trick.
This idea is perfect! It’s been 90 for days here and still going. I hadn’t thought about freezing grapes, but it sounds wonderful right now! Thanks!
