The new year has begun with an amazing series of events. In the span of two weeks Hubby and I found the perfect home for us at this time in our life, made an offer that was accepted, frantically prepared our current home to sell and immediately received a full price offer.
We asked for this and if it’s any sign of how 2019 is going to go, then we’d better hang on to our seats. I always say, when it’s time for something to happen God’s plan materializes in stunning fashion. A new Season of Our Life has begun and we are deeply grateful!
Next month it will be 10 years since Hubby was in a car crash that changed our lives forever. The injuries he sustained have taken their toll and it is definitely time to move from our three-story townhouse, with way too many stairs, to a one level condo with no home maintenance.
These beautiful photos, taken on New Year’s Day, show the view from the deck of our current home right in the middle of the city. We will be leaving it behind, but we are excited about what the future holds. I have no doubt the next several weeks will be stressful and chaotic, but we can’t wait to move on and get settled into our new life.
The townhouse has served us and our family well, but it’s time to turn it over to the young couple who are thrilled to become its new owners. We listed the home for sale and within 24 hours they walked in the door and knew it was to be theirs. We have all been blessed!
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen.” Jeremiah 29:11-12, NLT
